Kathmandu, Aug 29 (RSS): A woman got killed in a road accident near the Bishnumati Bridge in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13 this morning.
Thirty-two years old Babita Thapa of Dolakha, who was pillion riding on a motorbike (Ba 34 Pa 5415), sustained serious injuries when a tanker (Na 4 Kha 2948) hit the bike heading towards Tripureshwar.
Thapa succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital, police said. Dev Kumar Rijal who was driving the motorcycle has been injured in the incident. Police have arrested the tanker driver, 62-year-old Bir Bahadur BK of Makawanpur, for investigation.
